Biografía
The Principal Investigator of the CMM holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (2010) and an MSc (M2) in Mathematical Modeling from Université Paris 6 (2007), where he developed a strong foundation in advanced analysis and mathematical modeling.
His research lies in the field of nonlinear dispersive equations, with particular emphasis on collision phenomena, well-posedness, stability and asymptotic stability, as well as the formation of singularities (blow-up). His work contributes significantly to the rigorous understanding of the qualitative dynamics and long-term behavior of nonlinear partial differential equations.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the Universidad de Chile, where he earned degrees in Mathematical Engineering (2006), Astronomy (BSc, 2006), and Mathematics (BSc, 2005).
In recognition of the excellence and impact of his scientific contributions, he was awarded the Ramanujan Prize in 2025.
