The 2022 calls for the STIC AmSud, MATH AmSud and CLIMAT AmSud programs will be open from March 15, 2022.
Researchers will be able to apply until May 17, 2022. The prerequisites for the programs remain the same as in previous years: having a team of French researchers and at least two teams of researchers from South American countries participating in the program.
CLIMAT-AmSud, STIC-AmSud and MATH-AmSud are regional scientific-technological cooperation programs involving Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and France. Their objective is to promote and strengthen collaboration and the creation of research-development networks in the fields of information and communication sciences and technologies (STIC), mathematics (MATH) and climate change and variability (CLIMAT) through joint projects.
Calendar of the calls for proposals
- March 15, 2022: opening of the call for proposals
- May 17, 2022: closing of the call at 12:00 hrs. (noon) mainland Chile
- December 2022: publication of the results of the call for applications
- January 2023: start of projects
Proposals must be submitted via the online platform available on the ANID website.
The international coordinator of the submitted project must send through the application platform a .pdf version of the proposal in English, including the CVs of the project coordinators, before Monday, May 17, 2022 at 12:00 hrs. (noon) of Continental Chile.
