SIPo “m-Equicontinuity in Minimal Dynamical Systems”
Abstract:
Dynamical systems study the evolution of systems over time and help us understand behaviors ranging from regular dynamics to more complex phenomena. In this context, equicontinuity is a property that allows us to identify certain aspects of regularity in the dynamics. Every dynamical system has a maximal equicontinuous factor, which provides a way to study this regular structure within the system.
In this talk, we will study the fibers of the maximal equicontinuous factor, as their structure helps us better understand the relationship between the original dynamics and its equicontinuous component.
In particular, we will explore the relationship between the structure of these fibers and a multivariate notion of equicontinuity, which we call m-equicontinuity.
