Associate Researchers

The CMM has a very active network of associate researchers in Chile and abroad. This network allows to enhance the scope of research at CMM as well as give a support to emerging groups of mathematicians in different universities in Chile, in both fundamental mathematics and applied research and education. In this way we are creating a national network of mathematicians interested in applying mathematics to solve problems coming from other sciences, the industry and public policies.

Our Associate Researchers come from Universidad de Chile and Universidad de Concepción, and from our network of associate universities: Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI), Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB), Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (UCSC), Universidad de O’Higgins (UOH), Universidad de Valparaíso (UV), Universidad del Bío-Bío (UBB) and Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (USM/AM2V). Some of our associate researchers come from other Chilean universities – such as Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and Universidad de Santiago – and even from other disciplines, contributing valuable knowledge and perspectives.
